Keys loses fishing ambassor

A long time friend and noted fishing captain and business man  Dave Nararro was found dead this past Monday from a self inflicted gunshot wound. Dave was only 51 and well known in the fishing community in and around the Middle keys. Dave owned theWorld Class angler  in Marthon for years which he recently sold. A recent catch off port charlotte fla gave Bucky  Dennis the new world record for a hammerhead shark 1060# this shattered the old record of 620 # set in 1992. The shark had to be killed to weight it. In 1992 not an issue,but ole bucky is taking alot of heat these days for killing this monster.Wow how things have changed, your comments.... Read More

Tech Advise On Tuna Fishing

The tuna rods were rigged and securely stowed, and we had plenty of ice in the fish box. All packed and ready to roll, we would surely arrive at the blue-water grounds in time for the morning bite. There was still one last thing to check, though. We snuck back inside, fired up the laptop and logged on to our favorite website for tracking Gulf Stream conditions.
